The PandaByte RGB LCD backlight panel utilizes the RGB color model, an industry-standard system that generates a vast range of colors by adjusting three primary channels: red (R), green (G), and blue (B). This enables the production of up to 16 million colors, covering nearly the entire spectrum visible to the human eye.
The RGB LCD backlight board features a built-in common anode diode, with the black edge positioned at the top when the pins are facing up. The pin layout, from left to right, consists of red, power (positive), green, and blue. Designed for versatility, it can function as both a backlight source and an LED indicator.
A standard Grove connector is included for quick plug-and-play functionality. Due to the limitation of the 2 data pins in the standard Grove interface, only two colors (Blue and Green) can be controlled via the Grove connector. However, to unlock the full RGB control (including Blue), you can utilize the standard male header pins provided, ensuring full flexibility for more advanced setups.
